1. 1Core Class - Two way messaging option
1Core Class offers an instant messaging option for the admin users as well as for the classroom staff. Using this messaging service, Admin users, classroom users and location directors of a childcare center can interact with the parents.

The childcare center director can directly respond to the messages of the parents using the 'My Messages' section. To send a new message to a parent, select the compose message icon at the lower right corner of the 'Messages' screen, from where you can select a parent from the overall list of the enrolled parents.
The Childcare center director will have the access to the classroom messages. The classroom messages section will have the conversation that happened between the parents and classroom staff of different classrooms.
The Location director will not be able to participate in the conversation in the classroom messages section, while they will have the ability to view the conversations taken place between parents and classroom staff.
The Location Director can also send messages to the parents by accessing the child's profile from the classroom list.
When you are working on any other screen than the individual conversation screen, you will receive a push notification for any new incoming messages.
While you are on the 'Conversation' screen, any new incoming message will be alerted along with the alert tone set in the mobile. No push notification will be displayed in this scenario.
2. 1Core Class - Classroom User
Two way messaging feature for the Classroom user is similar to the Location Director. But the classroom users can only engage in conversation with the parents of the children, who are all enrolled under the classroom user's assigned classrooms.
After selecting the profile, you will be taken to the message editor page from where you can respond to the messages of the parents. To send a new message to a parent, select the compose message icon at the lower right corner of the 'Messages' screen, from where you can select a parent from the overall list of the enrolled parents.
When you are working on any other screen than the messages screen, you will receive a push notification for any new incoming messages.
While you are on the "Messages" screen, any new incoming message will be alerted along with the alert tone set in the mobile. No push notification will be displayed in this scenario
